Community Planning and Development 

The Community Planning and Development Department coordinates and accesses Tribal resources by creating master plans and development strategies to ensure a cohesive effort in meeting the needs of the 
Tribal Members and the Tribe. Within these efforts, the Community Planning and Development Department provides direct service in real estate (business/home site leasing/service line agreements); community planning (site selection/coordination of regulatory review/permitting); land use planning for access to water/wastewater/roads/power/right-of-ways, etc.; and, general surveying services for all Seminole Tribal properties.

Construction Management 

Whether it is a new home or a commercial building, the Construction Management team takes an idea or concept and puts it on paper. In collaboration with the owner or end user, we go through all phases of preconstruction until we ensure that what has been designed is what the end user is expecting. We work diligently in planning and design before moving on to the next stage of the project.

Housing (Maintenance)

The mission of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Housing Department is to provide quality, affordable homeownership and rental housing opportunities for Tribal Members through excellent Member Care and Project Management; to empower Tribal Members with financial and housing knowledge to enhance their quality of life; and to act as the Tribe’s housing developer, following excellent business practices.

Public Works

The Department is responsible for providing a variety of services to the residents of The Seminole Tribe. The Department’s main function is to administer and manage the construction, operation and maintenance of the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s infrastructure for water, waste water & distribution collection systems, facilities and sanitation services to meet the existing and future needs of the Tribal Council and community.

Real Estate

The Real Estate Services Department provides professional real estate expertise and administrative support to the Tribal Council, Reservation Representatives, Tribal Members, and other departments and offices of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

Survey

The Survey Department performs a variety of tasks for the Seminole Tribe of Florida including Boundary Surveys, Topography Surveys, As-built, Construction Stakeouts, and Elevation Certificates. As the Tribe continues its expansion, our department plays an integral role in making their visions a reality.
